Specific packaging

The management of your packing and packaging faces a double constraint. The packaging chosen must offer sufficient protection to meet the standard hazards of handling and transport, as well as any form of sanitary contamination up to the final consumer. But at the meantime the packaging may represent both a cost and a significant impact in terms of waste management when lost.

The responsibility of shippers is therefore extended, and carriers are increasingly called upon to identify reverse logistics solutions to recover packaging for reuse.

The sender is solely responsible for the quality of the packaging and the marking of his goods.

… whatever the incoterm chosen for the transaction.

Most of the conventions that rule transport law throughout the world provide in various forms exemption from the liability of carriers in case of loss or damage of the goods if it results from the shipper’s fault in terms of unsuitable packaging, failure to mark the packages or inaccurate declaration on the ticket.

It is therefore up to the shipper to ensure proper packaging and sufficient marking, regardless of the incoterm provided for the transaction.

The professionals of the BBL Group have the necessary experience to advise our customers on the risks of the chosen packaging and inform them regularly in case of difficulty.

Suspended and modular transport

Solutions in sea container or truck.

In the textile and fashion industry, suspended transport avoids any folding of the clothes and therefore saves a lot of time in handling.

Whether it is a question of sea container arrangements or specific trucks, there are several modular techniques which depend on the size (in particular the height) of the pieces transported.

For a logistics of your clothing transport without creases, contact us.

Pallet modules ready for sale

Three functions in one.

These are packaging solutions created to combine the requirements of packing and shipping any merchandise, allowing mechanized handling (pallet trucks), and presenting it for sale in the store.

Our contract logistics professionals can help you choose them, and pack them in a logistics warehouse.

Our transport professionals will deliver them with the necessary precautions to all the desired destinations.

From the Isokit to the carboglace, all passive cooling devices

For all perishable products

These passive cooling devices are referred to as “refrigerant”. Their lifetime and their capacity to maintain a target temperature are necessarily limited.

Our professionals will help you choose the right insulated containers and refrigerants for transport.

  • PCM : Whether they are gel packs or eutectic plates, (Phase Change Material) literally work like batteries. Heat from the environment is absorbed by the PCMs as they change from a solid to a liquid state. The result is that the isothermal container is kept cold or cooled.
  • Dry Ice : “carboglace” is a trademark registered in France by Air Liquide. This ice is CO2 in solid form. It is an excellent refrigerant that goes directly from the solid state to the gaseous state by sublimation. Associated with appropriate isothermal containers, it is an excellent solution for your shipments of food products for short trips.

Our containerized solutions in isotank or flexitank

Sea transport is suitable for liquid or /pulvérants/ bulk.

The Flexitank is a flexible and hermetic container placed in a standard container from 20′. It can transport up to 24,000 liters of product. Once the Flexitank has been transported, it is removed from the container and discarded, while the container becomes usable again for any type of transport .

Some flexitank solutions now offer the possibility to recover and recycle the flexitank after use.
