Our DNA

Our conviction. BBL Group has been built on the conviction that the subsidiaries joining can and must preserve their methods and their brands as the flags of their know-how and their teams. At the head of each of the brands of this Federation of Specialists gathered together, an autonomous and responsible management is committed under the BBL Group banner.

Our vocation. Unlike those who would like to impose their standardized processes on you, the vocation of our specialists is to define a customized solution, a manufactured solution to meet your expectations.

A well understood customer request…

By listening carefully to our customers’ requirements, BBL Group distinguishes itself from the giants of the sector which impose their standardized products and processes.

A well-coordinated solution!

The human scale of our subsidiaries allows them to coordinate complex logistics chains with great flexibility, to integrate overseas transport, road transport, customs clearance and distribution services.

Our ambition. BBL Group is committed in a digital transformation whose first ambition is to put back the human being at the center of our systems, facilitating all the data exchanges as well as all the automatable treatments. A flexible network decentralized on purpose.

The year 2020 and the current health crisis have served as a catalyst for the development of digital solutions to maintain the service provided to our customers.

BBL group is well aware of the path it will have to take in the coming years to transform and modernize our information systems.

A three-year plan has been outlined with the objective to allow all remote exchanges, to limit any double data entry between the source of our contractors and all the users of the transportation chain, as well as to introduce automation of all recurrent processes.

Above all, our goal is not to replace people. The complexities and uncertainties of the carrier demonstrate every day the need for experienced professionals. Instead, it is a question of freeing them from thankless tasks with low added value to better devote them to the quality of service provided to our customers.

Key figures
Social & Environmental commitment

BBL Group has joined the United Nations Global Compact program

The companies that joined the BBL Group in the last ten years were often not big enough to take into account the challenges of sustainable development. Gathering all their forces has allowed them to commit into sustainable development. In 2021, the Group publishes its first COP (Communication On Progress) as part of the Group’s participation in the United Nations GLOBAL COMPACT program.

Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world

According to BBL Group, equality of opportunity comes through the transmission of knowledge. Towards the employees of the group, as well as towards the outside, BBL and its subsidiaries are committed to education, training and tutoring.

Reducing consumption and polluting emissions

Transportation activities are by nature energy-consuming and polluting. Aware of the issues at stake, BBL Group supports its customers to reduce polluting emissions.

Groupage, reduction of empty transports, new propulsion modes, reduction of waste and packaging, Groupe BBL is committed.

Growth through shared quality

Development of employee shareholding, investments and external growth. BBL Group believes in its long-term prosperity.  A growth based on the “better” rather than the “always more”.

The future is what goes beyond the helping hand

With agents, partners for sometimes more than 25 years, BBL Group knows how much the establishment of strong partnerships is essential to achieve together what it is not possible to do alone.

Fight against corruption

The BBL Group refuses to deal with all forms of corruption and does not provide any of its services in areas of armed conflict, as well as in areas under embargo decreed by the United Nations Security Council.

In 2021, BBL Group will adopt a code of conduct and ensure that it is implemented in each of our subsidiaries. The objectives of the code of conduct are clearly established:

  • Identifying and detailing the behaviors constituting acts of corruption and showing how they are illegal;
  • Affirm the Group’s rules regarding questionable practices, such as certain promotional or sponsorship expenses, which may be interpreted as acts of corruption.
  • Reminding our absolute conviction that honesty fosters competitiveness and thus protects and ensures the Group’s long-term growth. Integrity within the BBL Group is a precious asset for our customers, our business partners and our employees.
